Title: SouthCoast Voices: A SEED Community Listening Session

Date: Thursday, July 30, 2026

Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Location: Talisa’s on Main Wine Bar & Tasting Room

About the Initiative: Too often, institutional funding and policy decisions are made without a complete picture of the communities they affect. To bridge this gap, the Women's Fund SouthCoast has partnered with the SouthCoast Community Foundation and the Center for Women in Politics and Public Policy at the University of Massachusetts Boston to launch SouthCoast Empowered by Equity Data (SEED).

Women's Fund SouthCoast

SEED is an equity-centered data initiative designed to ensure that community voices—not just assumptions—drive future strategic investments and legislative policy in our region. By blending hard numbers with true, raw, lived experiences, we are building an infrastructure where the realities of women and gender-expansive individuals are not only documented but directly acted upon.

Why Your Presence Matters: We believe that data is a tool for power, accountability, and action—and true data begins with you. This community listening session is a dedicated, safe space designed to elevate your unique experiences, challenges, and strengths.

Whether discussing healthcare, childcare, economic security, or professional leadership, the insights shared during this session will explicitly guide the next generation of regional grantmaking, advocacy work, and public policy conversations. This is your opportunity to speak directly to the organizations that allocate resources across the SouthCoast, ensuring our community's future is shaped by the people who live here.
